SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER
Job Description:
MainStreaming is in a scaling phase; our team is going to expands internationally and the heart of our product the R&D team is looking for new talents to join us. In order to improve everyday our enterprise platform, we are looking for a Senior System Engineer to help us on a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and configuration of physical and virtual machines from scratch and relative network configurations.
- Troubleshooting of Linux systems including high availability storage, web servers, proprietary service servers and the likes.
- Storage provisioning and backup management.
- System configuration using software provisioning automation.
- Configuration of monitoring systems triggers.
- Providing solutions and fixes independently.
Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in ICT industry.
- Advanced Linux OS Knowledge.
- Deep knowledge of BASH scripting and Shell commands.
- Working experience with network based, distributed and replicated storage technologies.
- Working experience of virtualization technologies and systems.
- Ability to monitor all system with advanced and custom scripts.
- Great troubleshooting skill.
- Basic Knowledge of TCP/IP
Nice to Have:
- Previous Experience in configuration and automation of CI/CD software.
- Previous experience in ISP-Telco or OTT environments.
