Business Development Representative

Job Description:

MainStreaming is in a scaling phase; our team is going to expands internationally and our Business Development team is looking for new talents to join us.
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative with B2B experience in technology, to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

Located in our Milan office (Bicocca area), you will support the overall sales growth effort by selling directly to customers and will generate revenue by working with small to medium size prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities;
  • Proactively identify new prospects within assigned territory using screening techniques and referrals;
  • Create business opportunities through mail and cold calling outreach;
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives;
  • Manage customer relationships through planned strategies to create annual growth within your assigned territories;
  • Keep up with market trends, promote and sell MainStreaming innovative products;
  • Use report tools to monitor and improve personal performance, in line with sales KPIs and targets;

Skills:

  • Excellent spoken and written English;
  • A second European language: either French, German, Spanish, Greek;
  • 1-2 year experience in a similar role is required, ideally in B2B tech/network/ telco;
  • Customer centric mindset;
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations;
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers;
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics;
  • Microsft Office proficiency.
